The C&A Property Database contains the warranty expiration date for equipment. Each
quarter the Purchasing Equipment Maintenance Team extracts the warranties that will
expire in the next three months and sends this information to the Property Control
Officer (PCO). The PCO or other authorized representative from the Program Area
must determine if a service contract is necessary. To make this determination, reference
the OTS Contractor Scientific and Support Equipment Service Contract Policy.
