Recent surge in the basic and clinical research has identified promising targets that may be useful in improving survival in patients with pancreatic cancer. This symposium addresses recent advances in the development, progression and treatment of pancreatic cancer, and should provide an exciting forum to discuss the challenges in improving diagnosis, prevention and disease outcome.
