Double Our Reach Employee Giving Campaign
SAIC Employees Only:
This year’s Double Our Reach employee giving campaign begins Wednesday, Oct. 26,
with a charity fair from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the lobby area of Building 549.
New for this year is an increase in the company matching fund from $50,000 to $75,000
and the addition of the Mission of Mercy to the list of organizations to which you
can make direct contributions via payroll deduction.
It is difficult to ask people to open their wallets in hard economic times. But
these are also times in which the need is so great and the giving so meaningful
and potentially life-changing.
At the charity fair, representatives of eight local nonprofit organizations will
be available to talk about the work of their organizations and to answer questions.
The organizations:
- American Cancer Society
- Chesapeake Bay Foundation
- Frederick Community College
- Frederick Rescue Mission
- Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County
- Heartly House
- Mission of Mercy
- United Way of Frederick County
