Our Curriculum
CCLC is a stimulating and caring environment designed to promote social, emotional,
cognitive and physical development. We provide a variety of learning experiences
that encourage a positive self-image and joy in the learning process. We respect
each child as an individual with unique qualities of personality, intelligence and
creativity. Our highly trained and educated staff has set up an environment that
is clean, fun, creative and most importantly “child centered.” We feel an open line
of communication between the center, our parents and schools is how we build a strong
relationship. Our goal at CCLC is to provide the best possible care and overall
rewarding experience for you and your child.
Curriculum
The Early Foundations® programs focus on the development of the whole child through
age-appropriate activities, covering the following domains: Approaches to Learning,
Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Cognition, and Language
and Communication. A carefully created framework of educational objectives ensures
development of academic skills, social and emotional skills, language and communication
skills, cognition and general knowledge, and physical and motor skills. Each activity
in the program is selected for its ability to introduce or provide practice of one
of these important skills.
Early Foundations® programs provide rich classroom environments where children are
encouraged to explore and are challenged to learn. Programs help children develop
a love of learning and build a strong foundation for their future learning experiences.
