The holiday season means Holiday Markets at NCI at Frederick, so mark your calendar today.

The first of the two Holiday Markets is set for Tuesday, Nov. 25, in Building 549, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or until vendors sell out).

The Holiday Market will feature some of the regular Farmers’ Market vendors, plus some new, local vendors and crafters, giving you a chance to shop for the holiday season. New to the Holiday Market this year are vendors of handmade jewelry; purses and bags; knitted items; ribbon wreaths and ornaments; T-shirts; scarves; homemade pickles; baked goods; local beef and pork; and more.

From chocolates and fudge to local honey products and alpaca wool items, candles and crafts, plants and locally grown produce, and everything in between, you will be able to shop for holiday gifts or last-minute items for your Thanksgiving celebration.

Pre-ordering Available

Some of the vendors offer an option to pre-order before the market. Watch your e-mail for information, or contact Carolynne Keenan, public affairs specialist, NCI Office of Scientific Operations, at fitzpaca@mail.nih.gov or 301-846-5207.
