Data Management Services, Inc. (DMS), has announced the opening of its spring session of software training classes, available to all employees at NCI at Frederick. Classes begin on March 31 and run through June 30.

New this year is Outlook Complete, which combines the information that was previously provided in two separate courses. “Most people are familiar with the basics of Outlook, so this course is designed to take students beyond the basics in a single session,” said Cathy McClintock, training administrator for DMS, the Computer & Statistical Services (C&SS) contractor.

In one day, this class covers such topics as customizing your Outlook environment; setting up and working with the calendar feature; customizing and managing your e-mail with folders, filters, rules, and alerts; and using your address book, notes, tasks, and journal most effectively.

All classes are held in the Building 362 training room on the NCI at Campus Frederick. For the course descriptions, schedule, and complete information, visit the C&SS Training website. This information is also available under the Quick Links on the Poster home page.

Exclusive or Custom Classes Available

Any NCI at Frederick employee, supervisor, or manager can arrange an exclusive regular or custom class for a minimum of four students. If you are interested in scheduling a class for your group, contact the training administrator for more information.
