Dear NIH Immunologists,
The Natural Killer Cell Interest Group and the Cytokine Interest Group, in conjunction with the NIH Immunology Interest Group, invite you to join us for a spring research conference, "Receptors and Cytokines in Innate Immunity". This symposium combines some of the world's experts on innate immune cells, cytokines and signaling from here at the NIH and around the world. Confirmed outside speakers include, David Artis, Ph.D., Department of Microbiology, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Hergen Spits, M.D., Ph.D., Tytgat Institute for Liver and Intestinal Research, University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Jordan Orange, M.D., Ph.D., Center for Human Immunobiology, Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine and James Chen, Ph.D., Center for Genetics of Host Defense, University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas TX.
In addition to these outside speaker NIH investigators (Yasmine Belkaid, Ulrich Siebenlist, Ludmila Prokunina-Olsson, Silvia Bolland, Amiran Dzutsev, Rachel Caspi, Jeff Zhu, Eric Long, David Margulies, Dragana Jankovic, Tsam Sam Xiao, and Richard Siegel ) will present their work.
The organizers want to thank everyone who submitted abstracts for consideration. The response was wonderful and 12 short talks have been selected for presentation at the meeting. The final agenda can be found here.
Please register. It is important for the justification of conferences and we need to know how many to expect.
Together this symposium promises to provide exciting new insights into multiple facets of innate immune cells and the cytokines they produce and to which they respond. Don't miss this one! We look forward to seeing you in April.
