Eckart Bindewald will be presenting the next installment of the Statistics for Lunch series: Scientific Graphics Creating visually pleasing displays of data makes it easier to communicate research findings and may even lead to new insights. In this seminar, an overview of several versatile programs will be presented for creating a wide variety of graphical displays ranging from 2D charts and circular plots to network layouts and interactive graphics. Among different presented approaches, the R programming environment will be emphasized. These concepts can be applied to many fields including genomics and RNA biology. This seminar will be followed by a hands on session in May where you can put these concepts into practice.
