Summer Video Series @ ATRF-HUMAN PLANET-Episode 3-"Arctic"

The Scientific Library’s 2013 Summer Video Series, the acclaimed BBC series HUMAN PLANET, will be shown at the ATRF on Mondays in the summer. Narrated by John Hurt, this epic eight-episode series explores the amazing lengths people must go to in order to survive in various unwelcoming habitats around the world. It is a breathtaking celebration of the amazing, complex, profound and sometimes challenging relationship between humankind and nature. It focuses on the constantly shifting--and often remarkably harsh--relationship between human beings and their surroundings.
