The Library strives to provide a quiet, comfortable study environment, in which noise is kept to a minimum. Therefore, the following guidelines are established for the use of
electronic devices in the Library.
As noise from cell phone use is disruptive to the research efforts of others within the library, anyone entering the Library with a cell phone should either turn down
their cell phone ringer or turn their phone to vibrate. Patrons may be asked to leave the library to answer or have conversations on a cell phone.
The above guidelines apply to the use of pagers or other electronic devices that ring or generate other audible noise.
