Employees must have a Scientific Library account to use the Library. Anyone interested in an account should visit the Library, in Building 549 or the ATRF, and complete a form. The form is available for printing here.
An NIH PIV card or registered barcode is necessary for off-site access to the Library’s website, for access to the document delivery request forms, and for checking out materials from the Library’s physical collection.
Only employees may check out books and other circulating materials. All new books and media are displayed on the New Materials Shelf for 2 weeks before circulating.
A copy machine and a microform reader/printer are available for patron use in the Library.
