Employees must have a Scientific Library account to check out materials from the Scientific Library.  An NIH PIV card is necessary to access the library’s electronic resources and for checking out materials from the physical collection.

• Renew online – On the OneSearch Home page choose the “Sign in” option in the upper right corner of the screen. Log in using your NIH Login or Scientific Library Account login credentials (for patrons who aren’t NIH employees). After logging in, choose your name in the upper right corner of the screen, and choose Library Card from the dropdown menu. Choose the Loans tab, and select the “Renew” link beside the title that needs renewal.
