A significant number of third-party applications are installed on the FRCE cluster. A form is provided for requesting new software installs or upgrades.

  • An up-to-date list of applications and versions can be gotten with the module avail command at the shell prompt.
  • For python3, use pip3 list to see available packages. This will work for any version of python loaded through modules.
  • For R, use R-packages, a locally-written script, to list all installed packages.
  • For perl, use cpan -l.

A SLURM script is provided for each software package when the FRCE administrators have knowledge to write one. Any contributions of scripts and sample datasets are appreciated and will be incorporated into the package page.

ABCS and EIT are cooperating to maintain a searchable database of applications installed on the FRCE cluster. The AppDB site is has an intuitive interface and provides the most useful information about available applications. Many thanks to the ABCS for providing this service.
