  1. Abstract:

    A novel cytotoxic stilbene, schweinfurthin D, was isolated from Macaranga schweinfurthii (Euphorbiaceae) and its structure was determined by spectroscopic methods. Schweinfurthin D showed comparable potency to schweinfurthin B.
