Submitting jobs through a web application
A number of web applications have been approved to be able to submit jobs to FRCE. These applications always run the jobs under a dedicated service account and generally require a site login.
While the application administrator is responsible for ensuring that the service is not abused, the FRCE administrators monitor the number of jobs submitted and the amount of system resources consumed. It is expected that the application administrator will also keep records of individual job submissions. Sites requiring this privilege are vetted on an individual basis and the privilege may be revoked if the system is abused multiple times. The sites must also be managed by the EIT Linux Systems team.
