Animal Care and Use Committee

The NCI has two separate assurances on file with the NIH Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare for the Frederick and Bethesda campuses. As a result, there are two separate Animal Care and Use Committees designed to meet the needs of investigators at each of these locations. To ensure you are provided with the appropriate guidance, please select the ACUC where your animals will be housed. If you will be housing animals at both Frederick and Bethesda, you will need to submit proposals to both locations (please contact your ACUC Coordinator for additional guidance).
