SPR Antibody Pairing

The SPR Antibody Pairing assay is performed using the unique flow cell features of the BioRad XPR36 array. This platform has a 6×6 channel flow cell design.

One Monoclonal antibody (Mab) is attached directly onto one flow cell on the sensor chip surface using Rabbit  anti-mouse Fc specific antibody (RAMc).
The antigen is then captured on the first Mab.
A second Mab is flowed over the surface to determine whether the two Mab bind to the same place on the antigen.
PCL is currently able to measure the pairing activity of 5 Mab’s simultaneously in 60 mins.
