Elementary Outreach Program
The Elementary Outreach Program provides the opportunity for elementary school students
to receive supplemental science training through hands-on experiences. The lessons
connect to Frederick County Public School (FCPS) curriculum. The program is supported
by the NCI at Frederick and its system of support contractors who have entered into
a formal partnership agreement with FCPS. Other agencies located on Ft. Detrick
have joined the program as well. We encourage our volunteers to take the program
to schools in their neighborhoods if they live outside of Frederick County.
