Event Description

Presenter John Otridge, Ph.D (Biomedical Informatics and Data Science (BIDS)) - As members of Frederick National Laboratory (FNL), we have a strong commitment to sharing with our communities. This manifests in many ways, one of which is sharing the data we and the NCI generate with the larger research community. This demo will provide an overview of the Cancer Research Data Commons (the CRDC) and will focus on two CRDC components: the Integrated Canine Data Commons (ICDC) and the Clinical Trial Data Commons. In addition to the value for biologists, we will also introduce Bento, a framework to enable others to quickly standup an engaging and functional interface to share data with a small research group or the whole world as an interconnected part of the CRDC.
