Event Description
This hands-on training follows Eckart Bindewald's lecture on creating scientific graphics.
He will be presenting ways to create visually pleasing displays of data, making communication of your research findings easier and possibly even leading to new insights. In this hands-on seminar, we will focus on the use of the ggplot graphics system in R, including some examples from the ggbio and ggseqplot packages, for use in creation of a wide variety of graphical displays ranging from 2D charts and circular plots to network layouts and interactive graphics. These concepts can be applied to many fields including genomics and RNA biology.
This hands-on seminar will be held in the building 549 library training room, or you are welcome to join us remotely via WebEx.
Send an email to randall.johnson@nih.gov to reserve a seat and receive pre-workshop materials.
