Event Description

Mammalian RNAi is typically associated with the inhibition of gene expression in the cytoplasm. RNAi factors, however, can also mediate control of transcription and splicing in cell nuclei. The goal of this presentation is to introduce the basic science of mammalian RNAi and provide an example of how this understanding can be applied to therapeutic lead compound discovery. If you would like to meet with Dr. Corey please contact his host, Dr. Shuo Gu at 301-846-5447 or shuo.gu@nih.gov.
