Event Basics 

What is the Technology Showcase? 

An annual event hosted by NCI and Frederick National Laboratory that highlights technologies available for licensing/collaboration, connecting inventors with industry, investors, and partners. 

Registration & Access 

How do I register? 

Register via the link found here. 

What's the registration deadline?   

  • Non-NIH badge holders / non-U.S. citizens / non-Green Card holders: August 5 
  • NIH badge holders, U.S. citizens, or Green Card holders: September 2 

Is there a cost to register? 

No, it’s free. 

What ID or security clearance do I need to get in? 

Since the ATRF is a federal facility, all visitors and staff aged 18 and older must present a REAL ID-compliant driver's license, enhanced driver’s license, or an alternative federal-approved photo identification (such as a U.S. passport) to enter. 

Can I bring a colleague/register a group? 

All visitors must be registered ahead of time. Registration closes September 2. 

What kinds of technologies are typically showcased? 

All showcased technologies have been developed by NCI or FNL investigators and are available for licensing or partnerships. Technologies include research tools, diagnostics, therapeutics, and devices.  

Logistics 

Is parking available at ATRF?

 Free parking is available on site. Please follow event signage to the parking lot at the rear of the building.  

Is there an agenda I can view in advance?

Who do I contact with questions?

Will there be food/refreshments? 

Yes, lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and coffee will be available throughout the event.

How do I connect with other attendees? 

Upon finding an attendee within the attendee list, click the chat button, from there you can send a message or click the calendar icon in the top right to set a meeting. 

Will I be able to access slides from presenters? 

Not all presenters will be able to make them publicly available.  

How long will the app be accessible for? 

You can find your notes, messages, and presenter slides until the app closes on 11/9/2026. 

What is the ATRF on-site WiFi?

 Please use the NCI-Guest network. No password is required.
