Security Information

All visitors must show proof of government-issued identification to enter the Advanced Technology Research Facility.

Upon arrival, you must report to the security desk inside the entrance door to check in. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to allow for the process.

For U.S. visitors, acceptable IDs include a REAL ID driver license or current passport. If your driver license is not in compliance with the REAL ID Act, you must provide a secondary form of ID (valid passport, social security card, voter registration card, or birth certificate).

For non-U.S. visitors, please bring your passport. 

Attention: Visitors who are not NIH Badge Holders, U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents with a green card must submit documentation of a U.S. Visa or Visa Waiver Program at least 30 days prior to their visit to the ATRF. You will receive an email with instructions shortly after registering. Please be advised that failure to submit the required form at least 30 days before your scheduled arrival may result in denial of entry to the campus.

All event visitors must register in advance to attend.
