The Center of Excellence in Chromosome Biology (CECB) Retreat
The Center of Excellence in Chromosome Biology (CECB) unites NCI investigators to advance a comprehensive understanding of chromosome biology. Areas of focus include chromosome structure and function, epigenetics and gene expression, chromosome segregation and cell division, DNA replication, repair, and recombination, as well as chromosome organization, gene localization, and nuclear protein interaction dynamics.
Retreat Goals
This retreat aims to promote interactions among PIs, fellows, and staff engaged in chromosome biology research. By fostering collaboration, the event seeks to drive new partnerships and accelerate progress in the field.
The retreat will feature:
- A keynote speaker, Kyle Miller, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Radiation Oncology, Emory University School of Medicine
- Selected talks based on submitted abstracts
- A poster session
Fellows, staff scientists, and trainees are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts for consideration.
