Services and Pricing
Pricing for each project varies, depending on the scope, complexity, the molecular
imaging probe, and the number of mice. Prices quoted are valid for NCI investigators
only. Please use the imaging request form
to initiate an imaging submission. Service will be charged according to two
(2) distinct processes: image acquisition and analysis in quarter hour intervals.
The image acquisition service includes prep, animal handling, injections, anesthesia,
imaging, and post-imaging procedures (decontaminate working area, uploading images
to an image archival system, returning animals to the facility, etc.). The analysis
service includes all types of image analysis. The molecular markers (D-Luciferin
and Magnevist) are included in the image acquisition service cost. All other imaging
agents (i.e. ultrasound microbubbles, radiopharmaceuticals, fluorescence probes,
etc) will be an additional charge. Additional molecular contrast agents and probes
will be added when they become available.
