Event Description
After many years at the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Alan Rein, one of the founding members of the HIV Dynamics and Replication Program (HIV DRP), is retiring in January 2025. The HIV DRP is organizing a one-day symposium on November 1, 2024, to celebrate Alan’s distinguished career. We are planning this as a hybrid in-person/virtual event.
The scientific component of the symposium will be provided by the following invited speakers: Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, John Coffin, Mauricio Comas-Garcia, Steve Goff, Nancy Hopkins, Steve Hughes, Delphine Muriaux, Karin Musier-Forsyth, Jonathan Stoye, and Peter Vogt.
We hope that you’ll consider attending to help us celebrate Alan’s remarkable career.
Additional details, a link to join the meeting remotely will be sent out soon. Registration is free but is required so we can track participation and notify participants of any changes.
