Mission

The Neutrophil Monitoring Lab (NML) performs CLIA-certified studies of phagocytic cell function on cells isolated from patients with recurrent bacterial, mycobacterial and fungal infections (chronic granulomatous disease, hyperIgE syndrome, leukocyte adhesion deficiency, IFN-γ receptor deficiency) as well as patients with abnormal inflammatory responses (pyoderma gangrenosum). The laboratory provides dedicated support to the Laboratory of Host Defenses (LHD), NIAID, NIH.
