Campus Security

U.S. Citizens

• All U.S. Citizens must be pre-registered for the retreat.
• All U.S. Citizens visiting the NIST campus must present the following items at entry:
  • Photo I.D. (federally approved State issued driver's license, Federal ID, NIH ID or original passport)
  • Vehicle Dash Pass

NOTE: Effective July 21, 2014, under the REAL ID Act of 2005, agencies, including NIST, can only accept a state-issued driver's license or identification card from states that are REAL ID compliant or have an extension. See the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) site for the Current Compliance List.

Foreign Nationals

• Foreign Nationals must complete a Non-U.S. citizen form prior to arriving to the NIST campus. Please indicate “foreign national” as you register for the retreat. A form will be sent to you within 72 hours. Please complete this form and return to Julia Lam.  This form must be submitted prior to February 15, 2019.  If you did not receive this form, please contact Julia Lam.
   
• Foreign nationals must present a valid passport (original only) or alien registration card (green card) upon arrival.
