The following process should be followed when requesting the addition of new features to the FRCE cluster. Feature requests, as opposed to software requests, are considered those that relate to the cluster hardware or to the functionality of the cluster manager.
Request a Feature
- The requester will submit an email to the FRCE team describing the feature request in some detail and requesting a consultation to discuss the feature request. These types of requests require a discovery discussion between the requester and the FRCE support team so that we can better understand the need in detail, gather all requirements, and document the feature request. Based on requirements, priority, and available resources, the request will be evaluated for approval.
- If approved, the requester will submit a Frederick General Service Request so that the feature request can be tracked via ServiceNow throughout the workflow process.
The process for FRCE software requests can be viewed here.
To receive support for an incident or issue on the FRCE cluster, follow this process.
