With the holiday seasons comes the generous holiday giving spirit.

This year, we encourage all federal employees to give to the Combined Federal Campaign. The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the only authorized solicitation of Federal employees in their workplace on behalf of approved charitable organizations. The CFC coordinates the fund-raising effort of various charitable organizations so that the federal donor would only be solicited once, annually, in the workplace and have the opportunity to make charitable contributions through payroll deduction.

Federal employees continue to make the CFC the largest and most successful workplace philanthropic fundraiser in the world.

The Frederick area is served by the Chesapeake Bay Area CFC Branch. As such, we encourage you to review a list of over 20,000 charities online and donate.

There are several ways to donate:

  1. BEST: Payroll Deduction

    To donate through payroll deduction, please following the instructions here. Be sure to enter workplace code “FDNCI”.

  2. Second Best: Online Payment through Nexus

    To donate online through the Nexus system, please follow the instructions here.

  3. Old Fashioned: Personal check and pledge card

    To donate the old-fashioned way, please contact your keyworker for a pledge card so she/he can supply you with donation instructions. A list of your keyworkers is below.
