Taking place at the Downtown Y this summer, this camp promises to make Science fun! Science camp will use guided discovery to help kids understand the science that surrounds us each and every day! Campers will conduct various STEAM activities and experiments throughout the week. Open to everyone from ages 8 to 14.

Nature Science Camp at Fountain Rock Park

Each day brings a new adventure! Maybe a hike in the woods, a trip to the creek, meet a nature center animal, or play a game to help learn more about the environment. Maybe a little of everything! Come join us to find out what's going on at the park this week. Please wear clothes you can get messy in. We will be outside as much as possible. Dress for the weather and bring a lunch with water bottle everyday.

The Big Outdoors Trailblazers at Fountain Rock Park

Let's take it outdoors! In this weekly nature based class we'll venture in to the woods, fields or the creek to explore nature science concepts that will teach you about how our natural world works. This is an outdoor class so please dress for the weather. Great summers start here!

BAR-T Specialty Camps

For campers who love finding find the trails that follow alongside rivers, lakes, & streams. We’ll be learning how to read maps, making our own maps, exploring river ecosystems, hanging out along streams, and exploring Cabin Branch Trail, Seneca Greenway at Shaffer Farm, and Black Hill Park.

Summer Camp Spectacular

Simply enjoy being a kid in summer. A weekly camp that is designed for fun and learning with different themes and activities each day and changing activities each week. Crafts, outdoor play, water games, nature and eco-science, STEAM projects, field trips, and a bit of independent playtime will make this camp a spectacular way to spend the day.

Mornings on the Farm

Frederick County has a rich history in farming. From growing crops to raising animals, there is so much to see and do. We will visit farms, learn about growing plants and raising animals, and see how food gets from the farm to a kitchen. Ages 6-10
Mix science and art to create a one of a kind explosions and experiments based on color! This in a “get in there and get messy” kind of camp. Come ready to make a splash in color! Ages 6-10
