Winter is on its way, and that means sweaters, snow—and the NCI at Frederick’s Holiday Markets.
The markets will take place on November 22 and December 20 in the Building 549 lobby and Conference Rooms from 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Many of the local vendors from the weekly Farmers’ Market will be present at one or both of the Holiday Markets along with newer, exclusive vendors who will display fresh produce, handcrafted jewelry, baked goods, and much more.
Unique products such as alpaca wool items and specially crafted hummus can serve as perfect last-minute holiday gifts. Stock up the pantry with black and green Ceylon teas, artisan pastas, homemade relishes and preserves, and fresh honey products. Or pick up some beautiful wire-wrapped or beaded jewelry to treat yourself.
Farmers’ markets provide a healthy way to shop while benefiting the community and local businesses. The fruits and vegetables from local farmers are fresher and likely organic, which makes it easy to shop smarter. And visiting your local market promotes personal interactions with the vendors, which can form long-lasting friendships.
With that in mind, make holiday shopping easier and come visit the Holiday Markets to pick up some unique gifts and goodies.
